Surrounded by lush forests and vibrant landscapes, it offers a serene environment for visitors to reconnect with the natural world. The estate features inviting pools, tranquil ponds, an outdoor yoga shala, and extensive hiking and mountain biking routes, providing ample opportunities for relaxation and exploration. Guests can enjoy seminar rooms, dining areas, and wellness facilities, including a dry sauna, swimming pool, and whirlpool. Winklergut’s commitment to sustainability is evident through its regenerative farming practices, solar energy utilization, and permaculture vegetable gardens, fostering a self-sufficient and eco-friendly retreat.

Outdoor Activities Places:
Karma Yoga
At Winklergut, we value the spirit of Karma Yoga among our guests—a shared commitment to service and harmony. This collective effort creates a home-like atmosphere, honouring and preserving the sanctity of our space. We encourage all guests join such activities as follows:
- Provide water to the vegetable garden, ensuring the plants receive sufficient moisture.
- Tend to the strawberries in the evening, ensuring they are watered appropriately.
Recycling at our farm involves separating the waste into different sections for effective disposal. We kindly request that you sort your trash into the following categories:
1. Paper: Dispose of newspapers, magazines, cardboard, and office paper in the designated recycling bins.
2. Plastic: Place plastic containers, bottles, packaging materials, and other items in the allocated plastic recycling bins.
3. Glass: Deposit bottles, jars, and other glass containers in the recycling containers.
4. Organic waste: Collect food scraps, plant trimmings, and biodegradable materials for composting in the assigned compost bins.
5. General waste: Any non-recyclable waste that doesn’t fit the above categories should be placed in the general waste bins.
- Prepare and organize the living, seminar, and yoga rooms before sessions, ensuring they are clean, arranged neatly, and set up appropriately for the scheduled activities.
- After sessions, restore the rooms to their original state, including tidying up, arranging furniture, and maintaining cleanliness.
- Light candles and incense as needed for sessions.
This responsibility entails maintaining a harmonious environment and upholding the standards of cleanliness and tidiness. Here are the critical tasks associated with your role:
- Enforce house rules for residents and guests regarding noise levels, behaviour, and facility usage.
- Conduct regular property inspections twice daily to ensure lights are off, windows are closed, and any safety or maintenance concerns are promptly resolved.
- Monitor cleanliness in common areas and individual living spaces, promptly addressing any mess or clutter.
- Oversees the house’s equipment, facilities, and amenities, reporting any issues for timely resolution.
This responsibility entails maintaining a harmonious environment and upholding the standards of cleanliness and tidiness. Here are the critical tasks associated with your role:
- Organize common areas: Tidy up shared spaces like break rooms, conference rooms, or waiting areas. Clear away any leftover food, wash dishes if necessary, and return items to their designated places.
- Final inspection: Take a walkthrough of the entire space to ensure everything is clean, organized, and ready for the next day. Make a note of any maintenance issues or repairs that may need attention.
